A Touch of Power

Have you ever touched power? That feeling of owning the universe, owning everything you seem to know about. They say power is relative. I disagree. If you are powerful, people around you will know. It gives you a sense of confidence. Power breeds power, just like money makes money.

But where does power and money cross lines? I believe it’s more like greed, the hunger to have more when you already have enough. That is where power is used for material gains. In a word, we would call it corruption. But you never know how it feels when you are the one with power.

They say power is a lot of energy. Think about power-ups in computer games. They are always these balls of light, they look powerful and when you touch them or run through them, they boost your strength and agility. Steroids of the virtual; a crystal voodoo ball.

Power is about achievement, or realising your dreams of living the life you always wanted. Power is about looking at yourself in the mirror and believing you are beautiful and can make it anywhere in the world. Power is trusting your abilities; dreaming and using your abilities to make it big in this world. Power should make you humble and proud. It should satisfy you yet make you crave more. Power should bring success and honour with it. Power should make life a beautiful experience.
