Rhythm is essential for survival, particularly in these uncertain times. Should you be job-hunting, you have to force yourself to be in sync with the company you are eying to work with. You have to go with their rhythm, their flow. If they go up or down, you must know where to move at that exact point. You must always be alert, and question: is it time for me to go up or down? Is it time to go sideways, left? Or should I move to the right? Perhaps backwards?
You might say that it depends on the company. Or it depends on its leader.s Some companies would want you to go down if they go up. Some companies will want you to go up with them. Some will want you to stay where you are.

The same applies to music; the guitarist may sometimes strum slower as the drummer is beating faster. At times the two would quicken their pace. Either way, you must always be in sync with the rhythm of the band or risk being left behind—or worse, destroying the music. Just so, the rhythm in the workplace is a force that should be taken seriously in order to reach your personal goals and the goals of the company. In your dealings with people, specifically co-workers, you have to be diligent to know when to be frank or when to be silent. You have to go with the rhythm, the flow. I hate it when I have done my part and the people around me can’t go with the flow—and I’m sure it’s a mutual feeling. I am very considerate but when I reach my saturation point, I explode like a bomb and say things that can hurt people. Sometimes I want to throw the stapler across the room if I’m irritated! Sometimes I don't care who will be hit.
