The Power of Illusion

The beauty of a breathtaking moment is that it surpasses your expectations, it takes you by surprise. Something magical happens after you stare at the dot, color seeps into a black and white world, imposes itself, defying logic,
suggesting a different take on the world than what you were limited to. Turning the mundane into the magical is what a lot of the contemporary art scene seems to focus on, but sometimes the all important "dot" is missing, and what you're left with is the mundane, made more miserably mundane by someone's annoying attempt at being clever. Beware the clever, if you find yourself in self-congratulatory mode be very very suspicious.
