Trust

How much can you trust someone? Can you trust someone enough to risk doing something death-defying for them? Trusting the right person can be a marvelous gift. But the fact is, you will never know if the person you trust deserves the trust or not until they lose it.
Whenever we talk about trust, the first animal that comes to mind is the dog; man’s best friend. But think about it—every time you give something to the dog to eat, does he blindly eat it? No. He always sniffs at it first and then eats—even if it’s his favorite treat. Taking a cue from our beloved pet, trust should always be interwoven with a little bit of questioning, and a little bit of awareness.

A broken trust is hard to fix. If you never trust anyone except yourself, no one gets hurt. Furthermore, there is a risk, a line between someone controlling you and you trusting that same person. Whenever that trust is too blind, that control has the potential to enslave. Make sure you are not a slave to anyone. Choose carefully in whom you place your trust.

I believe in one thing: if you do trust someone, trust them with all your heart.  A half trust is as bad as not trusting at all. If you trust someone completely, you will ultimately gain one of two things: a lesson for life or a person you can trust forever!
